Two groups are working together to help children in need while also keeping items out of landfills.
Second Chance Toys and 1-800-Got-Junk have partnered up to deliver toys to children throughout the state. Both parties have collected, cleaned and redistributed toys for children in the past. By collecting gently used toys, their efforts have centered around Earth Week — happening April 21-25 this year — according to franchise partner Drew Trautman from New Jersey Northeast.
“Our two organizations are perfectly aligned and we have fun combining efforts to not only keep plastics out of landfills, but to help these children in need,” said Trautman.
